
Ernestine Shepard, the world's oldest female body builder shared her story with the Indianapolis Star about how to be successful in the world of professional body building. Shepard, who is 75, did not begin exercising till age 56, and believes it is truly the answer to aging well.
According to the Star, Shepard began working out with her sister when the two decided they were not satisfied with the condition of their bodies. After her sister passed away, Shepard continued their legacy by becoming a Guinness Book of World Records holder as the world's oldest female practicing body building.
Shepard shared some of her story and routine with the news provider, in the hopes that she can encourages others to get in shape. She drinks four egg whites every morning, and then 10 more after she has completed her run. She told the Star that she used to be on several medications for high blood pressure and panic attacks, but since getting ripped she doesn't have to take a single pill.
