Bodybuilder acquitted after long fraud trial

There has been much controversy surrounding Boston firefighter Albert Arroyo, who was accused of fraud after he was caught competing in bodybuilding competitions while on disability leave.

The city's news sources have reported that Arroyo was acquitted of the charges, with jurors citing insufficient evidence as reasons why they could not rule the man guilty.

“A lot of people have ailments,” said one juror, quoted by the Boston Herald. “People are fighting for their lives.”

Arroyo's defense claimed that he was engaging in muscle building exercises in an attempt to strengthen his back and alleviate his disability.

The Boston Globe reported that Arroyo was working out twice daily and squatting with 200-pound dumbells.

Indeed, that would be enough for an individual to gain a ripped physique like Arroyo's.

While no one can say whether his sore back could be alleviated with bodybuilding, regular trips to the chiropractor may make weight-lifting easier and safer.

Bodybuilders should be sure to practice proper workout techniques, since it can be easy to become injured in an attempt to get ripped.
