Rihanna bares her bod, focuses on fitness

Blogs are buzzing at the announcement that singer Rihanna will be the new face for Emporio Armani's line of underwear and jeans this autumn and winter. The campaign is scheduled to launch in September.

The gorgeous singer was looking fit in the ads, and her personal trainer, Ary Nunuz, discussed Rihanna's workout and diet with MSN's Starlounge.

"She trains for life. Rihanna is great at doing push-ups, squats, lunges, planks and Pilates!" Nunuz said, quoted by the news source. "We workout until we drop."

Rihanna also practices inversion training, which may aid muscle building by adding resistance to each repetition. She eats a balanced diet that avoids red meats and carbohydrates, according to the news source.

The FDA recommends eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, and low in saturated fat, as part of a healthy lifestyle that will support overall well-being, but heavy workouts may increase your body's need for energy and you may want more protein or other dietary needs to support muscle growth.

In addition to exercise and a healthy diet, some supplements may encourage muscle growth and help you get ripped. The supplements can work to supply your body with nutrients and muscle-building elements, such as nitric oxide.
