Sticking with exercise

It's important to have a regular workout routine, particularly for people trying to build muscle. Making a commitment to get ripped is easier said than done, and it sometimes it can seem impossible to keep going. Health News Daily recently ran an article on how to stick to a routine without getting bored or feeling unaccomplished.

According to the article, the key is confidence. People tend to stop working out if they feel like they don't know what they're doing or aren't getting the right results. Consulting with a professional in the gym can be useful to helping a person get on the right track with working out.

Christopher Sciamanna, M.D., recently conducted a study about how to keep weight off after it has been lost. He said that the most important thing is to adapt workout routines as the body continues to change, doing the same thing over and over will eventually stop showing results.

"It seems somewhat similar to love and marriage," Sciamanna told WebMD. "What gets you to the altar is likely to be quite different than what keeps you married in the long-term. [And] not recognizing this transition and adapting with different practices will also get you in trouble."
