Taylor Lautner's trainer offers suggestions for building muscle

When people think of celebrities who know how to get ripped, they often think of Twilight star Taylor Lautner. Recently, Lautner's trainer Jordan Yuam released his work out routine to help the average guy build muscle like a star. 


Men's Health said that Lautner used to be 5'10" and 140 pounds before he began exercising, showing that with hard work it's possible to get ripped even if you're naturally small.


"Inexperience works to your advantage," said Yuam. "The less muscle you have, the easier it is to gain muscle mass more quickly."


There are some simple steps to follow if you're trying to get the Lautner look. First, push your limits, adding a little bit more weight to your routine each day to make yourself stronger.


Next, create tension so that your muscles are actually being exercised, not just lifting what they're used to. Finally, don't overdo it with cardio, while it's important to keep the heart healthy you don't want to lose all of the fat you're trying to turn into muscle.
