RipFire to get ripped

If you're trying to get ripped, you probably know by now that the same old routine can get extremely boring and make it difficult to feel motivated to hit the gym. When this happens, you may want to try playing some sports. For example, Yahoo! Sports recently reported on some of the surprising ways that soccer can help you build muscle.

According to the news source, soccer uses a number of different muscle groups, which means that an athlete will see benefits in multiple parts of their body.

"Soccer can help build and strengthen muscles of the legs, thighs, abdomen, and chest. If an athlete plays soccer regularly, then he or she will notice the muscles becoming stronger, which can help reduce the risk of injuries," according to the news provider.

Yahoo! added that soccer can also increase agility and flexibility, something that is very important of athletes.

The Better Health Channel, an Australian news source, adds that soccer can also help people control their weight and increase their cardiovascular health. The sport can also teach coordination and promote sportsmanship if you participate on a team.
