Get ripped, not sick this winter

RipFire to get ripped

There have been many articles lately about the importance of keeping up with your get ripped routine during the holiday season. It's important to remember, however, that as you're exercising in the colder months you have to protect yourself from winter weather. Recently, American Health and Beauty published an article with some tips for staying safe while getting ripped in icy conditions.

First, while this may seem like an obvious fact, it is very important to keep bundled up while exercising outdoors. If you live somewhere really cold, the news source suggested getting thermal underwear. Remember, a lot of heat escapes through your head so be sure to wear a hat.

Next, individuals should be sure to take a vitamin during the winter.

"Vitamin C has long been known for its antioxidant and immune-boosting abilities. You can take over 1,000 mg during cold and flu season to stay on your toes," according to the news provider.

The Mayo Clinic reminds people who want to exercise outside during the winter months need to remember to wear sunscreen. Just because it doesn't feel like the sun is present, doesn't mean that you're safe from harmful UV rays.
