If you've made it your passion to get ripped, then maybe you've considered doing it for a living? According to experts at the National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association (NESTA), this may be the perfect year to do just that, as the personal training industry is expected to grow considerably in 2012.
"At NESTA, we believe that 2012 will be another exhilarating year in the fitness industry as personal trainers find new ways to succeed personally and financially while helping their clients achieve their full range of fitness and personal development goals,” said Scott Gaines, vice president of NESTA.
Gaines also predicts that there will be a move toward more specialization in the field of personal training. For example, more trainers that work exclusively with the elderly or young children or those that focus on the use of specific equipment, such as kettleballs or pilates machines.
Of course, the best personal trainers are experts in fitness, meaning they know how to keep themselves healthy along with their clients. Working to get ripped now could eventually help lead you to a new career path as a trainer.
